Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare in Imaging Services and assist in the performance of other duties. Provides quality patient care in a manner consistent with a safe and professional environment with primarily high‑risk and critically ill patients of all ages. Performs patient care duties associated with invasive procedures of all disease processes, and maintains procedural statistical documentation on all cases. A competent RT may place PICC lines under the physician’s direction and supervision. This position functions in a highly specialized and unique area and must be available to participate in the on‑call rotation covering weekends, holidays and various weekdays. Employee promotes service excellence.

Responsibilities

Deliver patient‑centered care during imaging procedures, including invasive interventions. Document all procedural data accurately. Participate in on‑call rotations and maintain readiness to provide rapid response to critical situations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• Completed PICC line placement course (if placing PICC lines).
• One (1) year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or interventional experience.
• Current ARRT registration.
• Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS/ARC ALS certification or obtained within 9 months of hire.
• Competent in the utilization of all standard radiographic equipment and supplies.
• Ability to utilize suction machine, O2 tanks, IV access, blood pressure cuffs, and cart with code supplies.

Certifications & Licensure

Current ARRT registration, AHA/ARC BLS, and AHA/ARC ACLS/ALS (or to be obtained within 9 months).
