Job summary

900 Emory Healthcare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality radiographs and assisting in various duties within Imaging Services. You will work in the O.R., patient floors, and Emergency Rooms, ensuring service excellence.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited School of Radiology. You will operate radiographic equipment and assist in maintaining a safe environment. Current ARRT registration is required within 12 months of hire, along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Current ARRT registration or obtained within 12 months of hire date.
  • Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Take radiographs in the O.R., on patient floors, and in the Emergency Room.
  • Operate all radiographic equipment, including portables, C-arms, and digital fluoroscopy.
  • Use the PACS system and scheduling module.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.

Skills

Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare in Imaging Services and assisting in the performance of other duties. Promotes service excellence. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality radiographs of all parts of the body for interpretation by the Radiologist.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education & Training: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.

Experience: None.

Certifications: Current ARRT registration or obtained within 12 months of hire date. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Utilizes a variety of standard radiographic equipment and supplies.
  • Functional with digital fluoroscopy, portable units, and c-arm equipment.
  • Expected to learn all routine radiology exams.
