Job summary

Davidson Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Jr. Infrared Hard Body Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs to capture IR signature requirements and develop threat models for missile systems.

The role requires collaboration with threat stakeholders and engineers to achieve high-fidelity representations for various modeling tools. You will work with little supervision as part of an Integrated Threat Package team, supporting MDA Ground Test Modeling and Simulation events while adhering to critical

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 2+ years experience or MS with 0-2 years.
• Travel up to 10% to support business needs.
• Current DoD Secret clearance required to start.
• Experience with modeling and simulation data analysis.
• Familiarity with missile flight characteristics and heating signatures.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or MATLAB).
• Understanding of MV&V for signatures data.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document IR signature requirements for missiles.
• Develop IRHB threat models for modeling tools/frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and analysts for high-fidelity representations.
• Coordinate with software engineers to provide tools for ITP production.
• Support ITP production and delivery with schedules and data production.
• Ensure Verification and Validation of signatures data deliverables.
• Drive automation and tools improvements to meet leadership goals.
• Meet defined delivery schedules for MDA Ground Test events.
