Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking an RN to join our team. This role leads professional nursing care, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients and families in a collaborative setting.

The position requires an Associate Degree in Nursing with NC licensure, BLS and ACLS; a Master’s degree and Critical Care experience are preferred to support enhanced surgical recovery and sepsis detection initiatives within our Magnet-designated

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience is required.
• IR or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• Masters in Nursing is preferred.
• Current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• National Certification in area of specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients.
• Implements the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Experience: One year of RN experience
• Preferred Experience: IR or Critical Care experience
• Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing
• Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
