Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, following established nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will work within organizational policies, coordinate care with the team, and support continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

The role requires current Georgia RN licensure (or NLC/eNLC) and BLS certification, with advanced certifications welcomed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care across the patient lifecycle using standardized nursing processes.
• Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Documents patient care and concerns in the medical record.
• Communicates with Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager and/or physician as appropriate.
• Maintains professional practice standards and ethical patient care.
