Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program
• New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BLS certification required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments and plans care based on nursing processes.
• Organizes data to form a care plan and identifies expected patient outcomes.
• Carries out the plan to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provides care appropriate to the patient’s condition and setting.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identifies teaching opportunities for patients and families.
• Documents care and concerns in patient records.
• Practices ethically and collaborates with the healthcare team.
