Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, from admission to discharge. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements include graduation from a nursing program, GA RN license with BLS, and strong documentation and teaching skills. A BSN is preferred, with hospital experience viewed favorably.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program required.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current GA RN license and BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care activities and supervise staff as assigned.
• Document patient care and concerns in the patient record.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide patient education resources.
• Communicate issues to Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or physician as appropriate.
• Lead within the professional practice setting and promote evidence-based nursing.
