Job summary

FocusGrowth Asset Management, LP is seeking an investor relations and marketing professional to support capital formation, serve as the day-to-day contact for existing investors, and own the firm’s marketing materials and brand. This is a combined role on a lean team, working closely with the principals and embedded with the investment team.

You will manage the investor CRM, develop outreach campaigns, coordinate due diligence, and deliver timely portfolio updates while ensuring SEC compliance

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in investor relations, capital formation, placement, investment banking, private credit, private equity, or a related role.
• Working knowledge of private credit and alternative investments, enough to speak credibly with investors about strategy, portfolio, risk, and returns.
• Familiarity with the marketing rules that apply to private funds, including the SEC Marketing Rule.
• Polished written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to and building relationships with institutional and high-net-worth investors.

Responsibilities

• Own the firm’s investor CRM: log outreach and touchpoints, set follow-up timelines, and keep pipeline status current.
• Prepare weekly pipeline reports for principals covering outreach, investor status, and timing.
• Identify prospective investors across institutional and wealth channels and build targeted outreach lists.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns for private wealth managers, financial advisors, and RIAs.
• Pitch the firm’s strategy and fund offerings to prospective investors.
• Coordinate due diligence: manage the investor data room and respond to requests.
• Maintain the firm’s DDQ and respond to operational due diligence requests with the COO/CFO.
• Serve as the day-to-day contact for existing investors and deliver portfolio updates via letters/calls.
• Coordinate subscription documents and onboarding with the fund administrator.
• Plan and manage investor meetings and annual meetings, including logistics and follow-up.
• Maintain and update marketing materials, draft investor communications, manage website/LinkedIn content, and oversee conference strategy.
