Responsibilities

• Support investor relations and capital formation efforts across existing and prospective investors.
• Assist with fundraising initiatives, investor outreach, and relationship management.
• Prepare investor presentations, fundraising materials, DDQs, and quarterly updates.
• Maintain CRM systems, investor databases, and fundraising pipeline tracking.
• Conduct investor research and identify capital sources and strategic opportunities.
• Coordinate investor meetings, diligence processes, conferences, and follow-up communications.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support reporting and data gathering for investor requests.

Our client, a highly regarded investment firm based in Santa Monica, is seeking an Investor Relations / Capital Formation Associate to join its growing team. Responsibilities

• Support the firm's investor relations and capital formation efforts across existing and prospective investors
• Assist with fundraising initiatives, investor outreach, and relationship management activities
• Prepare investor presentations, fundraising materials, DDQs, quarterly updates, and other investor-facing communications
• Maintain and enhance CRM systems, investor databases, and fundraising pipeline tracking

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience within Investor Relations, Capital Formation, Fundraising, LP Relations, Investor-Focused Business Development, Marketing, or Communications within private equity, venture capital, growth equity, hedge funds, or private credit
• Bachelor's degree required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with CRM platforms and investor databases
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated interest in private markets and institutional investor engagement
