Job summary

Atlantic Health in Morristown, NJ is seeking an imaging professional to perform diagnostic imaging using appropriate equipment, including fluoro and X-ray, for ER, surgical, inpatient and outpatient care.

You will ensure patient comfort using AIDET, prepare patients for IR procedures, uphold safety and radiation policies, collaborate with engineers and physicists, maintain imaging records, and support compliance with OSHA, JTC, TDH, and ACR standards.

Qualifications

• Imaging modalities proficiency including fluoro and X-ray.
• Ability to prepare patients and position for procedures.
• Knowledge of safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service requirements and ensure correct exam.
• Instructs patients/families about the test and their ability to tolerate it.
• Prepares patient or area for IR procedures by positioning and adjusting equipment.
• Follows safety, infection-control, drug and radiation policies consistently.
• Collaborates with engineers/physicists to optimize equipment performance.
• Maintains imaging records per department policies for timely interpretation.
• Supports compliance with OSHA, JTC, TDH and ACR by following procedures and records.
• Performs other relevant duties as assigned.
