Job summary

SSM Health is seeking an engaged Registered Nurse (RN) to manage and direct nursing care in the cath lab and interventional radiology at Saint Louis University Hospital. The role emphasizes high energy, motivation, and collaboration with the care team to support patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, care planning, timely interventions, patient education, and discharge planning, with a focus on safety, quality, and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or equivalency for licensing.
• One year medical surgical experience required; Critical Care or PACU experience preferred.
• RN license issued by applicable state boards (IL, MO, OK, WI) and ALS certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive nursing assessment and documents findings.
• Develops plan of care and coordinates with health team.
• Delivers and documents nursing interventions; educates patient and discharge planning.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care and updates plan accordingly.
• Demonstrates accountability and serves as resource for colleagues and patients.
