Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc. is seeking an RN to provide comprehensive care to adult patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality services during procedures.

The role includes acting as circulator, scrub, or monitor; preparing patients; administering medications; documenting orders and charges; educating patients and families; and assisting with patient escort. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Valid RN license in applicable state; BLS, ALS or PALS per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Acts as circulator, scrub, or monitor during procedures.
• Prepares patients for procedures and administers medications as directed.
• Performs hemostasis and documents orders and charges.
• Educates patients and families and assists with patient escort.
• Performs point of care testing and maintains safety and alertness.

Job description

• Responsibilities: Acts as circulator, scrub, or monitor during procedures; prepares patients; administers medications; performs hemostasis; documents orders and charges; educates patients and families; assists with patient escort; performs point of care testing; maintains safety and alertness; performs additional duties as assigned.
• Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent; no prior experience required.
• Physical Requirements: Constant speech, standing, walking; frequent lifting, sitting, reaching, and vision use; occasional heavy lifting and patient handling; repetitive movements; occasional driving.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license in applicable state; BLS, ALS or PALS certification per state requirements.
• Skills: Critical judgment, ability to work independently in stressful situations, effective communication, and patient education skills.
