Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Nurse to lead comprehensive nursing care for acutely ill adults in the Imaging Services department. You will develop, implement, and evaluate care plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and serving as a patient advocate.

Expect responsibilities across monitoring, medication administration, sterile technique, and operation of IR-related equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent Critical Care experience
• AZ RN license
• American Heart Association BLS
• ACLS within 6 months
• Preferred BSN

Responsibilities

• Manage blood samples and calculations
• Maintain sterile technique and assist physician during cases
• Administer medications under physician supervision
• Operate physiologic monitoring equipment
• Operate equipment related to IR procedures (IABP, Penumbra, IVUS, ISTAT, MedRad injector, thrombectomy, EKOS, pressure monitoring)
