Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures at the Javon Bea Hospital campus. You will prepare equipment, maintain sterile technique, monitor patients, and assist physicians in fast-paced, safety-focused environments.

Responsibilities include verifying patient identity and consent, tracking data, applying sterile drapes, and ensuring radiation safety. Night shifts and a sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program or equivalent training with required licensure.
• Board certified ARRT or eligible to take boards within six months.
• ACLS and NIHSS may be required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient ID and informed consent; review allergies and contrast history.
• Prepare equipment, maintain sterile field, assist physicians, and monitor patients.
• Scrub into procedures using sterile technique and handle blood/bodily fluids per policy.
• Document fluoroscopy time, radiation doses, and ensure safety limits.
• Provide post-procedural care and participate in quality improvement.
