Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Radiography registration is required.
• IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation if working in Illinois.
• WI-DSPS radiographer license if working in Wisconsin.
• Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures and related techniques.
• Operates imaging equipment and positions patients safely.
• Reviews patient history and ensures orders and labs are in range.
• Uses PACS and radiology information systems for records and images.
• Provides patient education and practical instruction for students.
• Adheres to ALARA principles and radiation safety protocols.
• Assists radiologist in fluoroscopic and special X-ray exams.
