Job summary

StateServ is seeking a remote Pharmacy Technician to perform prescription data entry and support hospice medication management from a home office in Pennsylvania or Tennessee. You will use pharmacy systems and Microsoft tools to ensure accurate records, process orders, and maintain compliant documentation.

The role requires one year of data entry experience, familiarity with drug names and formulary guidelines, and strong communication skills. PA/TN registrations may be required to start.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPhT preferred.
• Pharmacy Technicians residing in Pennsylvania must be registered with PA Board of Pharmacy or obtain registration prior to internal deadline.
• Pharmacy Technicians residing in Tennessee must be registered with TN Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform prescription data entry in accordance with company policies, IPU standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and process faxed medication orders, verify information with hospices, and document interactions.
• Maintain knowledge of brand and generic drug names, formulary guidelines, and IPU standards for accurate MARs and patient profiles.
• Provide support for ADS troubleshooting and after-hours protocols, including E3 and PCO-related urgent processing.
• Maintain detailed call logs and documentation for every client, prescriber, and hospice interaction.
