Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Networking Solutions Group to enable next generation IPUs for leading customers. You will contribute across the IPU lifecycle, from board bring up to kernel configuration and performance tuning, driving end-to-end solution delivery with cross-functional teams.

The role demands strong communication, hands-on debugging, and the ability to translate customer use cases into robust designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical or Computer engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years combined experience in networking fundamentals and NIC hardware/software stacks.
• Experience with Linux, PCIe devices, and network management protocols.
• Experience in Networking Solutions Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers integrating Intel Ethernet products; accelerate design cycles.
• Contribute across the IPU lifecycle, including board bring-up, low-level device initialization, and kernel configuration.
• Collaborate across engineering, architecture, program management, and product management.
• Develop technical collaterals to support customer designs.
• Evaluate and enhance tools or software to improve efficiency and performance.
• Analyze customer designs and feedback to drive product improvements.
