Job summary

Intel Corporation’s Networking Solutions Group is seeking an experienced engineer to help enable next-generation programmable IPUs for lead customers in the CES organization. You will work on IPU bring-up, kernel configuration, driver work, and end-to-end solution delivery with cloud providers and Intel teams.

You will develop technical collateral, evaluate tools to improve performance, and analyze customer feedback to drive improvements for current and future IPU products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer engineering or CS.
• 6+ years in networking fundamentals and data center protocols.
• Experience with NIC hardware/software stacks, testing and troubleshooting.
• Linux, PCIe devices, network management protocols, and debugging.
• Experience in Networking Solutions Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers integrating Intel Ethernet products, ensuring high quality designs and accelerating time to market.
• Contribute across the full IPU lifecycle: board/platform bring up, low-level device initialization, OS driver/kernel configuration, system management, feature enablement, use case testing, debugging, verification.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand use cases and drive end-to-end solution delivery across time zones.
• Develop technical collateral such as application notes, user guides, and white papers to support and simplify customer design with Intel IPU.
• Evaluate, create, and enhance tools or software to improve efficiency, optimize product quality, and enhance performance.
• Analyze customer designs and voice of customer feedback to drive improvements for current and next generation products.
