Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, is hiring an IPT Lead - Manufacturing Harness to manage schedule, budget, and technical oversight of subsystem deliverables for multiple control accounts. You will coordinate with program management, engineering, production, ATLO, and customers to deliver qualified harness components on time and within budget.

The role requires driving team execution, optimizing production capacity, and guiding design for manufacturability to meet manufacturing rates.

Qualifications

• Advanced technical education in engineering or related field with 9+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• ABET accreditation preferred but not required in the USA.
• Experience with Jira, MS Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Experience leading engineering and/or manufacturing teams and personnel.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Program Management Offices to understand and prioritize deliverable hardware.
• Drive day-to-day team execution and upcoming milestone progress across the flow from demand entry to delivery.
• Manage project scope, planning, cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessment throughout the lifecycle.
• Update LRE planners and schedules; provide Earned Value Management inputs and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain historical data for cost and schedule projections; input to baselines.
• Ensure hardware build schedules meet program needs in shared production areas.
• Work with Engineering to align product roadmap with long-range plans and manage technical changes.
• Represent control accounts as technical authority and performance manager.
• Track subsystem TPMs and proactively resolve issues affecting progress.
• Close out DRs with engineering to keep manufacturing moving.
