Job summary

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) is seeking an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPT Lead) to guide subsystem engineering within a cross-functional team. You will manage engineering plans, coordinate with Project Engineers and Managers, and drive design, development and verification efforts for advanced GA-EMS products.

The role requires strong leadership, systems engineering expertise, and experience presenting technical work at reviews.

Qualifications

• Typically requires engineering degree with progressive experience.
• Experience in at least one engineering discipline such as power electronics, vehicles, energy storage, optics, space systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead subsystem engineering efforts within the IPT and coordinate with Project Engineer/PM.
• Plan, execute, and track engineering activities to meet cost, schedule and performance commitments.
• Represent the IPT to the engineering organization and to customers during reviews.
• Develop interfaces, requirements, and test plans; drive tasks to closure in a timely fashion.
• Provide regular technical updates and maintain thorough documentation throughout development.
