Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a directly related life science field.
• 5+ years hands-on cell culture and expansion experience.
• Experience with GMP, FDA guidelines, and regulated cleanroom environments.
• Ability to work rotating weekends/holidays and lead a diverse team.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Associates and manage resources to meet production targets.
• Escalate and decide on production issues, adjust schedules per GMP.
• Perform hands-on manufacturing including iPSC reprogramming and expansion.
• Review batch records, deviations, investigations and CAPAs.
• Develop and revise SOPs to reflect current practices.
• Plan and respond to process disruptions and equipment alarms.
• Plan schedules and tech transfer activities for scale-up.
• Collaborate with procurement to manage material usage and budget.
• Coach and train staff and foster a collaborative team.
