Job summary

Total Safety U.S., Inc. is seeking an IPSC Lead Technician to join a safety-conscious team in a plant setting. The role involves insulating, testing, maintaining, and repairing customer-owned equipment, and providing lead support to supervisory staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating equipment flow, performing complex troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with policies. Strong customer communication and safety adherence are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• At least two years of field experience and/or proven ability to lead a work team.
• Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence and valid proof of vehicle insurance.
• Forklift experience preferred; must pass internal forklift certification.
• Must have three or more manufacturer’s certifications.
• Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages equipment in and out of the facility as needs arise.
• Work as a single IPSC or as part of a team depending on location complexity.
• Inspects, tests, and maintains safety equipment per manufacturer requirements and documents service per TS/customer policies.
• Ensure inventory levels and stocking of shelves with clean, tested equipment, pull and load customer orders onto trucks.
• Proficient in issuing, receiving, tracking, inspecting equipment using company/customer software and generating complex reports.
• Communicates effectively with customers and builds rapport quickly; responds to complaints and resolves problems.
• Adheres to all TS & customer policies and procedures; works safely.
