Job summary

Total Safety is seeking an IPSC Technician to support safety and compliance services in a plant environment. The role involves inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing customer-owned equipment under supervision, with regular interface with customers.

The technician will assist with stocking and preparing equipment, loading orders for delivery, and using dedicated software to track equipment. A valid license, forklift experience, and willingness to obtain a manufacturer’s certification

Qualifications

At least six months of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry.
Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance; insurable for Total Safety vehicle.
Forklift experience preferred; must pass internal forklift certification if required.
Must obtain at least one manufacturer’s certification within six months of employment.
Proficiency in PPE and respiratory protection equipment as required.

Responsibilities

Learns to inspect, test, and maintain safety equipment per manufacturer requirements and document service.
Assists in facility operations by stocking, pulling, staging, and loading customer orders; keeps areas clean and orderly.
Learns to issue, receive, track, and inspect equipment using company/customer software.
Communicates effectively with others and builds rapport with customers quickly.
Must work safely and adhere to all TSUS & customer policies and procedures.
