Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking an Employment Specialist to deliver evidence-based IPS services to participants at risk of homelessness. You will manage a caseload, align employment and clinical plans, and collaborate with treatment teams to support job placement and retention.

Responsibilities include outreach, job development, resume support, and coordination with partner agencies. A driver's license is required and experience with homelessness is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Equivalency considered; Colorado Driver’s License required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in employment services and homelessness services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver prevention and employment support.
• Assesses employment interests, skills, abilities, and barriers to employment.
• Develops individualized Employment Plans (IEPs) with participants.
• Facilitates employment readiness workshops, training, and resume support.
• Provides ongoing coaching to promote job retention and advancement.
• Coordinates services with VR and partner agencies to expand opportunities.
• Documents case notes, reports, and data in a timely manner.
