Job summary

LifeWorks NW is seeking a Supported Employment Specialist to assess and support youth and adults with serious mental illness in securing and sustaining employment. You will train clients, coordinate with employers, and guide job placements in community settings, using IPS fidelity practices.

Responsibilities include developing service plans, identifying job opportunities, and providing ongoing support and documentation to ensure successful outcomes for clients and the agency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• MHACBO certification and registration required.
• At least 1 year of behavioral health experience with disability populations.
• Valid driver's license and insurance; reliable vehicle for client transport.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word; ability to use EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients and family to assess employment skills and goals.
• Develop employment-focused service plans with measurable outcomes.
• Research job openings and connect clients with opportunities.
• Provide job coaching and support during placement and follow-ups.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation.
