Job summary

Get Set UK is seeking a Delivery and Partnership Manager to lead IPS employment services across Essex, overseeing Team Leaders, subcontractors and NHS partnerships. You will ensure high-quality delivery, monitor KPIs and fidelity, and drive improvements in employment outcomes.

The role requires countywide travel, strong leadership and collaboration with health partners to integrate employment support with mental health services. This is a senior operational post based in Essex.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams or Team Leaders within IPS or mental health employment services with evidence of performance improvement.
• Experience managing subcontractors or supply chain partners, monitoring contractual performance and addressing underperformance.
• Solid understanding of IPS principles and fidelity, plus awareness of barriers to employment for people with severe mental illness.
• Experience collaborating with NHS mental health services or clinical teams to improve service delivery.
• Evidence of managing contractual KPIs, employment outcomes and quality standards with data-driven improvement actions.
• Experience coaching and developing others and handling difficult performance conversations.
• Ability to travel across the county to meet operational demands.

Responsibilities

• Make sure employment support across internal teams and subcontracted services is consistent.
• Lead Team Leaders, review performance, coach managers and address issues affecting participants or outcomes.
• Monitor referrals, caseloads, waiting times, job starts and sustained employment; act to implement improvements.
• Hold subcontractors accountable for performance and quality while maintaining constructive relationships.
• Collaborate with NHS clinical teams and commissioners to strengthen referral pathways and integrate employment support with treatment.
• Coordinate fidelity reviews, prepare evidence and drive meaningful improvements in delivery.
• Oversee safeguarding, contractual compliance, service risks and reporting.
