Job summary

Get Set UK is hiring an IPS Employment Specialist to join NHS clinical teams across Essex, helping people with serious mental illness secure competitive paid work aligned to their goals. You will manage a caseload, support job applications and interviews, and coordinate with clinicians on wellbeing and workplace adjustments.

You will also engage employers, build relationships, and travel daily between community, clinical and employer locations. Full IPS training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience providing one-to-one advice or support to adults, with evidence of helping work toward outcomes.
• Evidence of building trust, motivating people and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Experience managing a caseload and maintaining accurate records.
• Confidence communicating with diverse people and employers; willingness to approach new businesses.
• Ability to travel regularly across Essex and use MS Office and digital case systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete vocational profiles and support applications and interviews.
• Assist with disclosures, workplace adjustments and health at work considerations.
• Engage with NHS clinicians and attend multidisciplinary meetings when required.
• Proactively engage businesses to uncover opportunities and sustain employment.
