Job summary

Kikoff is seeking a founding hire for external reporting and technical accounting. You will own the financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and schedules as Kikoff prepares to go public.

Reporting to the VP Corporate Controller, you will shape processes for a public company and handle complex balance-sheet topics including consumer credit receivables, cash advances, and structured financing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years across Big 4 public accounting and in-house SEC reporting or technical accounting.
• CPA required, with deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting rules, including Regulation S-X and S-K.
• Drafted 10-Ks and 10-Qs; IPO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft the financial statement sections of registration statements and support letters.
• Build and run quarterly and annual reporting processes (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy).
• Manage the transition from private to public accounting, including ASC standards and disclosures.
• Own technical accounting areas excluding revenue recognition (ASC 718, 260, 280, 350-40, 805, 470, 842, 450, 460).
• Track new standards and SEC rulemaking and begin early implementation.
