Job summary

StevenDouglas has partnered with a private e-commerce company building a Global Controller function for growth with potential IPO. The role reports to the Senior Director of Finance and leads a large accounting team, owning financial reporting, ERP, audits, and internal controls for public-company readiness.

Responsibilities include close processes, technical accounting, SEC filings, internal controls design, and interaction with the Board and auditors, while scaling the team and ERP

Qualifications

• Public company readiness experience and IPO exposure are strongly preferred.
• CPA license is required.
• Experience leading large accounting teams and coordinating with auditors.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close under US GAAP.
• Own accounting ERP, external audits, and internal controls program.
• Build scalable controls framework and SOX 404 readiness.
