Job summary

StevenDouglas is recruiting a Corporate Controller to lead the worldwide accounting function, driving accurate financials and tight internal controls for a PE-backed global company. You will partner with the CFO and executive team to support board reporting and lender requirements.

The role requires Big 4 experience, CPA license, and 10+ years in senior accounting leadership, with international multi-entity consolidation and complex close processes.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• Big 4 public accounting background with progression to Senior/Manager.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Senior accounting leadership experience in a PE-backed company.
• Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidation.
• Experience managing external audits and building/internal controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for U.S. and international entities.
• Oversee multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation, intercompany, eliminations, and FX translation.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for CFO, board, and PE sponsor.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and inventory costing.
• Own the annual external audit and maintain a strong internal control environment.
• Partner with tax on U.S. and international compliance, provision, and transfer pricing.
• Support M&A due diligence, purchase accounting, and post-acquisition integration.
• Contribute to exit readiness and financing strategies.
