Forvia is seeking an Injection molding and Tooling IPEX Specialist 1 in Saline, Michigan, to link production units with technical services and implement best-in-class manufacturing processes for thermoplastics, 2K injections, and related tooling.

The role coordinates productivity actions, defines processes, PFMEA, and supports continuous improvement across the IPEX network, ensuring alignment with global standards and plant layouts.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• 2+ years in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Define the manufacturing process documents and PFMEA.
• Participate in definitions of new tools & equipment for programs.
• Define cycle time in line with takt time and standard operations.
• Analyze malfunctions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead training and knowledge sharing within the IPEX network.
