Job summary

Forvia is seeking an IPEX Specialist in Auburn Hills to connect production units with technical services and deliver industrial solutions. The role focuses on process definition, deployment of best practices, and coordination of productivity actions across the IPEX network.

You will work with GTS and Global IPEX standards, oversee tool definitions, and ensure adherence to quality and safety guidelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• 2+ years in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Product Engineer (R&D) for monitoring the product design during serial life.
• Define the manufacturing process documents and perform PFMEA.
• Participate in definitions of new tools and equipment with IPM/IPE during programs.
• Define investment and manpower needs and release plant/cell lay-outs.
• Define cycle times in line with takt time and standard operations.
• Contribute to installation and deployment of production means and support machine reception.
• Organize and maintain overall KPI and analyze malfunctions to implement FES processes.
• Lead IPEX network activities and coach process technicians and plant engineers.
• Promote health, safety and environment guidelines in line with group policies.
