Job summary

Captor Corporation in Tipp City, OH is seeking an IPC Certified Trainer to lead workforce training, IPC certification, and manufacturing competency development. You will administer and maintain training programs to support AS9100 compliance, aerospace and defense requirements, and internal quality standards.

Hands-on instruction on the manufacturing floor will complement collaboration with line leadership. The role requires maintaining IPC-CIT credentials (IPC-A610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001),

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or related certifications preferred.
• Significant experience training and developing manufacturing personnel, esp. in AS9100 environments.
• Current IPC Certified Trainer credentials (CIT) in IPC A610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and J-STD-001 is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IPC CIT credentials and coordinate certification activities.
• Develop, conduct, and document hands-on on-the-job training for electronic assemblers.
• Coach on the manufacturing floor to reinforce workmanship standards and safe practices.
• Manage company training programs and ensure compliance with AS9100 and audits.
• Maintain training records, training matrix, and qualification documentation.
• Provide technical instruction on IPC standards and manufacturing best practices.
