University of Kentucky's Office of Technology Commercialization seeks an OTC Fellow at part-time, 10 hours weekly, in Lexington, KY. This student position involves patent and market research, tech commercialization support, and assist with contract reviews.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students with 90+ credits required.
• Graduate students may participate with advisor permission.
• Post-docs may participate under supervisor approval.

Responsabilités

• Conduct scientific, market, prior art, and patent searches and analyses.
• Assess commercial viability of inventions via market research and comps.
• Identify potential licensees or inventors.
• Develop marketing materials for technologies.
• Assist with patent docket management and analytics.
• Collect royalty rate data and help build preliminary valuations.
• Assist in contract review and management.
