Job Title: Student: Smart Campus Academic Technologist Lead

Location: Lexington, KY – University of Kentucky

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and deliver customized presentations to promote innovative use of Apple technology and support the Student iPad Kit initiative.
• Collaborate with students, faculty, and campus organizations to drive engagement with technology-enhanced learning.
• Plan events, perform outreach, and develop partnerships while supporting key Smart Campus programs (UK Invests, Digital Signage, Bowman’s Friends).
• Mentor other academic technologists and leverage social media for event promotion and campus service awareness.
• Integrate Smart Campus technologies into diverse campus spaces and manage training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma or GED; current student at the University of Kentucky.
• Required Related Experience: None
• Required License/Registration/Certification: None
• Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent communication, organization, and research skills; ability to work independently and with peers; experience delivering workshops or training; familiarity with educational technology applications; leadership experience in an academic setting.
