Job summary
OPTECH in Williamsburg, VA, is seeking a Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician to install and service IP cameras and security systems across Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond. Ideal candidates have experience with IP surveillance, access control, and intrusion systems, plus the ability to pass a background check and obtain DCJS licensing.

Qualifications
- Experience installing/servicing IP surveillance systems.
- Experience with Hanwha/Samsung/Axis cameras is a plus.
- Experience installing/servicing Intrusion Detection Systems is a plus.
- Experience installing/servicing Access Control Systems is a plus.
- Experience with structured cabling and/or AV is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction techniques.
- Computer and networking experience.
Responsibilities
- Install and service IP surveillance systems and security systems.
- Demonstrate reliable and professional appearance with friendly, responsive attitude.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using ladders and power tools.
- Pass background check and obtain DCJS license.
