Job summary

Insight Global is seeking five Service Activation Engineers / Configuration Engineers to support a large modernization project across 4,000+ sites. The role involves executing and documenting formal acceptance testing of products and services per program requirements, and interfacing with Telco providers and field technicians for real-time troubleshooting and configurations.

Candidates should have 7+ years of related enterprise experience, Cisco expertise (Juniper a plus), and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise experience required.
• Cisco experience required; Juniper a plus.
• Domain knowledge of data protocols (TCP/IP, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, LDP, PIM, MSDP, Ethernet).
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

They will interface with both Telco providers and field technician for real time troubleshooting and configuring implementations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

7+ years of experience related experience from an enterprise environment

Cisco experience (Juniper experience is a plus)

Domain knowledge of data protocols including TCP/IP, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, LDP, PIM, MSDP, and layer 2 Ethernet.

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

CCNA experience with MetaSolv (database modeling software) prior experience at AT&T, Verizon, TMobile, Comcast etc.
