Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Intellectual Property Associate in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience, be registered to practice before the USPTO, and possess patent prosecution and drafting experience.

The role focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in software, telecommunications, medical, and mechanical arts, with opportunities for growth within the IP practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with strong academics.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Draft provisional, non-provisional, and design patent applications related to software, UI, and gaming technologies.
• Review and draft responses to patent Office Actions.
• Prepare patent prosecution-related documents (e.g., Responses to Notices of Missing Parts, IDS).
• Support trademark matters, including drafting responses to trademark Office Actions.
• Draft correspondence to foreign associates regarding patent and trademark prosecution and foreign proceedings.
