Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a mid-level Patent Prosecution Associate with 2–5 years of relevant experience to join their Intellectual Property Practice Group in San Francisco, CA.

The successful candidate will draft and prosecute patent applications for advanced computing technologies, analyze complex inventions with inventors and in-house counsel, and help develop strategic IP portfolios under partner mentorship.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
• At least 3 years of experience in patent prosecution.
• Strong technical experience in medical devices, semiconductors, or related technologies.
• Degree in Computer Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent applications directed to advanced computing technologies.
• Analyze complex technologies and communicate effectively with inventors and in-house counsel.
