Duties include drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in electrical engineering, computer science, and software-implemented business methods; drafting IP agreements and licenses; and conducting patentability, freedom-to-operate, and due diligence assessments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of patent preparation and prosecution in the electrical arts.
• U.S. Patent & Trademark Office registration and Arizona bar license.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications in electrical engineering, computer science, and software-implemented business methods.
• Draft and review intellectual property and technology-related agreements and licenses.
• Provide patentability, freedom to operate, and due diligence assessments.
