Job summary

Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC is seeking a Legal Coordinator to support our Intellectual Property Practice Group in Chicago. This role offers exposure to trademark, patent, copyright, and IP portfolio matters while handling administrative, docketing, and filing tasks.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and client service are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities within a fast-paced legal environment.
• Experience supporting intellectual property practice groups preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and docketing tools required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, proofread, and format correspondence, legal documents, reports, and client communications.
• Open new client matters and maintain organized electronic files and IP portfolio materials.
• Assist with preparation and filing of U.S. trademark and patent documents and related correspondence.
• Track deadlines through docketing software and attorney calendars.
• Coordinate U.S. and foreign filings with clients, providers, and government offices.
