FBT Gibbons LLP is a national law firm supporting mid-market and growth companies across the United States. We are seeking a detail-oriented IP Patent Paralegal to support attorneys on sophisticated patent prosecution matters in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, experience with patent rules, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. This role can be based in multiple office locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Patent Intellectual Property Paralegal experience.
• Experience with CPI and PracticeLink is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist, prepare and file legal documents with USPTO and other offices electronically for PCT and national applications.
• Stay up to date with filing requirements in USPTO and international offices.
• Communicate with foreign counsel on international applications and renewals.
• Prepare IDS, manage patent families, and file with USPTO and other offices.
• Record time accurately in the time and billing system.
