Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking an IP Paralegal Manager to supervise patent and trademark paralegals across multiple offices, with optional remote work within reasonable commuting distance. The role focuses on workload balancing, performance assessment, and policy guidance to deliver high-quality client work.

Requirements include 8+ years in law firms or in-house IP, supervisory experience, and IP procedures knowledge.

Formación

• 8+ years’ experience in a law firm or in house legal department.
• Experience leading in a supervisory/management role supervising staff.
• Subject matter expertise in IP rules and procedures.
• Ability to supervise a team of 20+ paralegals; leadership by example.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IP paralegals.
• Manage and rebalance paralegal caseloads based on skill and urgency.
• Promote continuing education and provide training opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and firm standards.
• Monitor work product for timeliness and accuracy.
• Oversee cross-office coverage and budgeted overtime usage.
• Supervise timekeeping, payroll approvals, and expense reimbursements.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of paralegals.
