Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator in Atlanta or Washington, DC. The role focuses on IP marketing support and firmwide initiatives, coordinating pitches, proposals, and client engagement activities across practices.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years in professional services marketing, excellent writing and communication skills, and strong MS Office/CRM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in professional services and/or business-to-business marketing, with preference for law firm backgrounds.
• Willingness to provide onsite support for firm-hosted events and seminars, including travel.
• Familiarity with intellectual property law preferred.
• Collateral and proposal management experience preferred.
• Excellent writing, communication and follow-up skills are essential.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, CRM systems, PowerPoint and Excel; able to organize data.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate pitch and proposal creation, market and competitive research, collateral updates, and knowledge management for the IP Department and other practices.
• Perform target client and practice area research and analysis to support business development activities.
• Identify and capture IP-related experience and knowledge, including proposals, pitch materials, and case work.
• Assist with legal directory submissions (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500) including coordinating with partners on submission details.
• Manage external marketing mailings, including event invites and time-sensitive alerts.
• Ensure materials are accurate, polished, and aligned with firm standards.
