Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP is seeking an IP Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in complex patent disputes across federal courts, PTAB proceedings, and ITC investigations. You will manage discovery, document production, deposition prep, and PTAB filings, while coordinating expert materials and trial readiness.

The role requires a BA degree with law firm experience and proficiency in MS Office and eDiscovery tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with strong academic credentials.
• Paralegal certificate preferred from ABA-accredited program.
• Experience in a law firm or IP litigation environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support complex patent disputes in federal courts, PTAB, and ITC investigations.
• Coordinate discovery, document production, deposition prep, and case management.
• Prepare PTAB filings and manage filing deadlines and procedures.
• Assist with witness preparation, hearings, and trial support.
• Train and oversee junior staff and conduct fast-paced project coordination.
