Job summary

Jones Day is seeking an IP Litigation Paralegal to support a project team of attorneys in the Cleveland office and other Firm offices as needed. The role involves trial preparation, research, due diligence, document management, and coordination of filings with courts and agencies.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in litigation, with IP/litigation paralegal experience preferred (5+ years). Familiarity with e-filing and e-discovery for federal courts, ITC, and USPTO is expected.

Qualifications

• Three+ years’ experience in litigation
• IP/litigation paralegal experience preferred (5+ years)
• Familiarity with e-filing and e-discovery procedures for federal courts, ITC and USPTO
• Trial support experience including preparation and exhibit management
• Ability to travel and work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist and support a project team of attorneys in Cleveland and other offices as needed
• Provide trial support including pre-trial and post-trial logistics
• Conduct statutory, regulatory, or factual research for client matters
• Assist with due diligence, privilege reviews, pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
• Manage organization of client materials and attorney work product; coordinate filings and service lists
• Assist with billing and contractor services; liaise with support staff and firm offices
