Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking an IP Litigation Paralegal to join the IP Litigation team. The role involves supporting all phases of IP litigation, from case initiation through discovery, trial, and post-trial matters, including e-discovery coordination and deposition support.

The candidate will organize case materials, prepare documents, collaborates with attorneys, and manage filing and service tasks. A Bachelor’s degree and IP litigation experience are required, with overtime availability expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 3+ years of IP Litigation experience supporting litigating patent cases.
• Experience with USPTO inter partes review and re-examination proceedings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, iManage and other firm applications.
• Available to work overtime, as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support for patent litigation in federal courts, ITC, and PTAB.
• Organize materials for all discovery and trial preparation; manage e-discovery.
• Prepare documents for Bates-numbering, redaction, and indexing.
• Coordinate deposition logistics and prepare witness files.
• Assist attorneys with motions, briefs, and filing; manage exhibits.
