Our client, an elite boutique intellectual property firm is seeking a Senior IP Litigation Paralegal with patent expertise to join their San Francisco office. This is an awesome chance to work with great attorneys at the top of their field who value paralegals as key members of the case team.

- No billable hour requirement
- 10% salary increase for trials lasting 5+ days. 1 additional day of PTO for every 7 days at trial

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage case files, logistics, and deadlines throughout the full patent litigation lifecycle, from pre-complaint through appeal
- Supervise, mentor, train, and collaborate with paralegal staff
- Manage eDiscovery and document production processes, including collection, tracking, quality control, service, and privilege logs
- Work closely with attorneys to calculate and manage case and matter deadlines
- Apply and monitor Federal and Local Rules, eDiscovery stipulations, and Protective Orders
- Manage confidential client information, including source code reviews and document productions
- Coordinate trial-site logistics, setup, pretrial deadlines, and legal support personnel
- Provide courtroom support, including exhibit tracking, timekeeping, and management of courtroom materials and resources
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience supporting complex patent litigation
- Expert knowledge of ECF filings and Federal and Local Rules
- Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis
- Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring, and training paralegal staff
- Expert Bluebook and legal/factual cite-checking skills
- Strong understanding of patent litigation from pre-complaint through appeal
- Strong knowledge of appellate procedures, including appellate briefing, appendices, and mandamus petitions strongly preferred
- Experience with USPTO Post-Grant Proceedings and/or ITC Section 337 Investigations is a plus
*Schedule is 5 days in-office for the first 90 days and then hybrid thereafter.
Salary range $150,000 - $175,000 depending on experience level.
