Watts & Partners is seeking a IP Litigation (It/Engineering) Associate to join its Washington, DC platform. The role offers exposure to high-value disputes for major technology, life-sciences and corporate clients within a nationally recognized practice.

The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys, take ownership of substantive matters and gain exposure to cross-practice collaboration, with direct access to clients and senior staff.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of substantive ip and patent litigation experience.
• Strong drafting, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support complex patent, trade-secret and technology disputes in federal courts and specialist forums.
• Draft substantive motions, briefs and discovery materials.
