Advocates Legal Recruiting represents an AmLaw 100 client expanding a top-tier IP litigation group across major markets. The role targets an IP litigation associate handling patent and trade secret disputes in federal courts and at the PTAB, collaborating with partners and in-house teams on strategy, damages, and trial prep.

Ideal candidates have a JD (2019–2022) with strong IP litigation experience and an undergraduate degree in EE/CE/CS/ME/ChemE/BiomedE, with clerkship valued and CAFC interest

Qualifications

• Strong academic record and substantive IP litigation experience, with patent and/or technical trade secrets focus.
• Judicial clerkship valued, CAFC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Litigate patent and technical trade secret matters in federal courts and at the PTAB.
• Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, take and defend depositions.
• Work directly with partners, in-house counsel, and experts on strategy, damages, and trial prep.
• Collaborate across offices on technologies spanning software, semiconductors, life sciences, and mechanical systems.
